国际部现有中方教师26人，其中本科以上学历100%，硕士研究生以上学历60%、博士研究生以上学历4%，有海外学习背景70%；中方教师主要担任外教助教、负责开设人文课程、选修课、社团拓展课程讲 授及学生日程管理、升学指导。 国际部现有外教14人，其中本科以上学历100%，硕士研究生以上学历50 ，外教分别来自美国、加拿大和澳大利亚。外教主要从事美国高中课程、加拿大高中课程和 澳大利亚高中课程的教学工作；同时部分外教还承担了国际部学生社团指导工作。

Bachelor’s of Science in Pure Mathematics, in August 2009; and Master’s of Science in Mathematics (Focus on Mathematics Education) in May 2013, both from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis IUPUI), Indiana, USA.
Credentials:
Professional Educator’s License from Indiana State Department of Education, USA, to teach Mathematics to grades 5-12.
David Jabornik
My name is David Jabornik and my majors' in my undergraduate degree were History and Politics, while my majors' in my masters degree were History teaching, Humanities teaching and English teaching. My masters degree is from The University of Melbourne, while my undergraduate degree is from La Trobe University.
I am a firm believer that students who work hard can achieve great things in education. Hard working students must engage their minds though, because I think that you can only really learn when you have made a strong attempt to really understand ideas, rather than simply accumulate facts. Therefore I want students to engage with ideas in the classroom and when they are completing homework. Learning vocabulary, book characters and the rules of grammar are essential for an EAL student but they must also think, rather than simply try and memorise and regurgitate facts in exams, to do well in English. Finally students must be encouraged to take English seriously in the home if parents want their children to succeed. Relaxing at home is good but reading a book in English is much better for my students as an activity than playing video games.

A.内部评价：
A. School Assessment
1）学生必须通过以下内部评价：
Students must pass the following school assessments.
• 日常出勤情况；
Everyday attendance
• 完成老师布置的所有作业；
Finish all the assignments given by teachers
• 保证独立完成作业，不抄袭；
Be honest and independent when completing the homework
• 作业达到一定的标准，证明你真正理解所学的知识。
Meet the requirement of homework to demonstrate that you really understand it.
2）在内部评价中每一个学科的每一位老师将决定是否给学生（符合要求）或N（不符合要求）。
In the school assessment, every subject teacher has the right to give an S (Satisfactory) or N (Not Passing) to students.
3）如果学生得到一个N，学生这科将不及格，VCE也将不及格。
If a student gets a N, he or she fails this subject and cannot receive VCE.
4）每一个学科的老师也会给一些重要的作业打分，这也作为内部评价的分数。
Every subject teacher can mark some important assignments as scores for school assessments.
5）在VCE课程中教师的内部评价非常重要，对学生来说只通过考试是不够的。
The school assessments are very important in VCE. Students should not only pass but also try their best to get a good result.
B.外部评价：
B. External Assessment
1）学生将要在6月初完成GAT考试。GAT考试是一门综合能力测试。
Students must take the General Achievement Test (GAT) in the beginning of June. It is a good predictor of students’ future overall achievements.
2）从10月到11月中旬学生将进行VCE考试。
Students must take VCE external examinations between October and November.
3）这些考试的分数加上内部评价的分数将组成大学入学成绩。
The scores of external examinations and school assessments will be converted into an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) score.

优质服务 科学营养膳食
苏国外膳食中心是健康学校的最前沿，由高级厨师、营养师组成的一支团队，负责全校师生每日三餐两点。学校特别重视饮食安全和卫生，采用非转基因油、东北五常有机大米，荤菜、蔬菜每日新鲜采购，所有食材都可追溯生产地。每日膳食都按健康饮食标准和现代营养学的要求进行搭配。学校膳食中心制作的餐食——低盐、少油，不用刺激性调味料，采用纯天然食材烹饪。

24小时安保 确保校内师生人身安全
学校建立了完善的安保系统，配备了数量充足的安保人员，实行全天候24小时值班巡逻。安保软、硬件设备齐全，建立了专人管理的监控、网络、通讯平台，实现校园监控全覆盖。学校还与公安局110中心安装了联网报警系统。实行三级值班制度，每晚有一名校级领导总值班、学部领导分值班，每班有一名教师值班。
特色活动
Special Activities
国际部定期开展各类活动，例如社会实践、外国主题文化活动、志愿服务等，有些活动是为了让学生体验丰富多彩的国际部生活，也是为了让孩子了解国外的特色文化，培养自己的兴趣爱好，尽量避免文化冲击。
We carry out various activities regularly, such as conducting social practice, foreign thematic activity and doing volunteer service. Some activities aim to let students experience the rich and colorful life in the International Department, and others aim to let students understand the foreign culture; develop their hobbies and try to avoid culture conflict.

6月7日上午9点，国际部五楼报告厅中澳项目高二、高三全体学生及家长们齐聚一堂，参加一年一度的澳大利亚大学巡展招生咨询会。来自悉尼大学、莫纳什大学、昆士兰大学、墨尔本皇家理工学院、迪肯大学、格里菲斯大学、维多利亚大学等多所澳洲著名院校的招生官和教授亲临现场出席本次活动，巡展会上师生互动气氛热烈，家长与学生都收获满满。
国际部中英文主持人大赛：挥洒青春色彩，唱响心中舞台
3月22日晚上6点，国际部英语组在五楼报告厅举办了一年一度的外语节系列活动之中英文主持人比赛。

11月24日下午1:00，在预科班王珺同学流畅的钢琴弹奏结束之后，国际部预科班家长会准时召开。

国际部的中外教师团队以丰富多彩的形式，向家长展示学生在国际部的学习生活状况；通过说明会和体验课，让大家更加了解国际部的办学特点、加深对国际教育的本质的理解。
Through various activities, both foreign and Chinese teachers from our International Department present the learning and living conditions of our students to their parents vividly. And through International Program Presentations and demo lessons, our parents’ understanding of our departments’ characteristics and international education is fully deepened.
