Everyday is sunny if you're safe and sound
2016年11月5日，苏州国际外语学校国际部，来自VCE高二（2）班，高二（1）班和中美高一（2）班的28名学生参加了苏州市社会福利总院的志愿者服务活动。本次的主要任务是一对一贴身服务，带领社会福利总院的孩子们游览苏州上方山动物园。
On 5th November, 2016, 28 students from VCE 11-2, 11-1 and SAA 10-2 went out for community service organized by Suzhou Social Welfare Home(SSWH). During this activity, students company children one by one from SSWH and showed them around the Zoo of Shangfang Hill.
看，久违的阳光透过车窗，照在我们献爱心的小义工身上，温暖而静谧。
Look, our kind volunteers are reflected with beautiful sunshine on their faces.
到达目的地后，同学们有序地集合，他们刚刚经过了紧张的期中考试，又把宝贵的周末拿出来陪伴福利院的孩子们。
The volunteers gathered in front of the zoo gate orderly. They spent weekend time caring children from SSWH just after the tense mid-term examination in school.
当天早上7：00，参与学生在薄雾中准时在学校集合，集体乘坐校车到福利总院迎接他们的“孩子”。
At 7 am, students got together at school gate and went to SSWH by bus for picking up their “children”there.
看到福利院的孩子们具体情况，很多学生的眼眶红了。从认领的那一刻开始，他们的手便没有随意松开过。
Many students felt sympathetic after meeting these children. They hold each others’ hands closely together all the day.
到了上方山动物园，学生们小心地领着自己的“孩子”。渴了，随时提供纯净水，热了，小心地帮忙脱下外衣，到了吃饭的时间，小心地挑出菜中的硬物，一口一口地喂给他们吃。
In the Zoo of Shangfang Hill, students cared their “children”carefully. They provided them with pure water when they were thirsty. They helped them take off coats when they were hot. They also fed them by spoon carefully during lunchtime.
这一刻，在帮助中，孩子们得到了成长，精神上得到了升华。
Our students improve themselves when they are helping people in need.
辛苦了自己，却把微笑留在了福利院孩子的脸上。
It is warm to see that our students let children smile happily after efforts.
学生们还准备了小小的节目献给福利院的孩子们还有其他义工，与此同时学生们也欣赏到了福利院孩子们的歌声，还有略显夸张但是全情投入的舞蹈。
Students also held performance for children and other volunteers. Meanwhile, children from SSWH also sincerely sang songs and danced for our volunteers.
学生在整个过程中，累了，依然坚持在自己的岗位上，热了，也不敢随便走到树荫下乘凉，就连想要上厕所都不敢随便走动。负责后勤安保的学生们更是随时待命，听候任务分配……整个过程中，每一位学生都充分地体现了他们身上的责任感，还有作为一名中学生应有的爱心和善良。
Although some students felt tired later, they still insisted on caring the children. Although they felt hot under the sunshine, they did not go to any shadow under the tree or toilet because they did not want to leave children alone. Every student showed their responsibilities, love and kindness during this activity.
远处的青山苍苍茫茫，静默着立在那里，伸开手臂，将这些孩子们拥抱在自己的怀里。
The green hills behind our volunteers and children seem like they are welcoming and embracing them .
