中美大家庭的期中聚会
American program Midterm meeting
11月25日，在这阳光明媚，略有寒意的日子里，苏州国际外语学校国际部举行了本学期中美项目期中家长会。中美学术总监Lee先生，国际部沈宗春主任，外教Grace，Aaron，Jacqui，Sean 以及中美项目的各导师和班导均应邀出席了本次会议。
On November 25th, a sunny and slightly cold day, American program parents’ meeting was held by International Department in Suzhou International Foreign Language School. Mr. Lee, the Academic Executive of American Program; SHEN Zongchun , the Director of the International Department; foreign teachers Grace, Aaron, Jacqui, Sean, as well as all the homeroom teachers in American program attended the meeting.
在感恩节的氛围中，来自中美高一1班的主持人罗笑、陈苏云精彩的开场白拉开了本次会议的帷幕。首先，中美项目总监Lee先生发表了讲话，他对中美项目各个课程进行了详细介绍，对半学期以来同学们的学习情况进行了汇报，并希望我们在抓紧每一门课程的学习的同时，能够多与外教沟通交流。
Surrounded by atmosphere of Thanksgiving Day, two students from the class 10-1—LUO Xiao and CHEN Suyun host wonderful introductory remarks for the meeting. First of all, Mr. Lee delivered a speech and conducted a detailed introduction to each course of the American program. At the same time, students' learning situation in the half of the semester were also reported. He hopes that we pay close attention to the study of each course and do more communication with foreign teachers at the same time.
随后，在同学们的殷切期盼下，中美项目的任教老师们和各班导师为每个班级的优秀学生颁发了印证辉煌战绩的各个奖项，同学们脸上的笑容温暖了整个会场。尤其是到会的爸爸妈妈们，都给予了最热烈的掌声！
Subsequently, subject teachers gave various awards for students who made outstanding achievements in each class. Students accepted the awards with big smile on their face. And all the parents who attended the meeting also gave the most enthusiastic applause for them.
为了增加我们对未来升学的认知，受邀而来的张老师对我们进行了详细的升学指导。从入学申请，考试科目，美国大学分布等多方面对我们进行了细致耐心的介绍。
In order to increase cognition for future studies, Mrs. Zhang was invited to give a detailed guidance for or students. She offered detailed introduction to our patient from the aspects such as college entrance application, examination subjects, the United States University distribution and so on.
大会最后在沈宗春主任对中美项目半学期以来的工作总结中落下帷幕，学校、家长、学生三方共聚一堂，本次大会不仅仅是对学生半个学期以来学习生活方面进行的一次总结，更像是中美大家庭的一次温馨聚会。
At the end of the meeting, director of the project, SHEN Zongchun made a half semester summary about the work done in American program. Teachers, parents and students all gathered together to attend the conference. This conference is not only a summary of the study and life of students for half of a semester, but also like a warm meeting between Chinese and American families.
